When I met with Skip and his son Jonathan, I was working on a message about when the Apostle Peter walked on water. The question that I was wrestling with was, "Why would Peter want to walk on water when he had a perfectly safe boat". It dawned on me that Skip is like Peter. Why would he take on such an enormous task at this stage of his life? Skip is not content to stay in safe boats. He is a man who is willing to walk on water. He wants to experience life, not just endure life. Skip has my vote of confidence and my admiration.
